Home School Community Liaison Officer (HSCLO)

The Home School Community Liaison (HSCL) Scheme aims to promote partnership between the home, the school and the wider community in order to ensure that all students participate fully in school.
The HSCL Scheme recognises that parents are the primary educators of their children and tries to support parents by listening to their opinions and helping to resolve any issues or concerns that they may have.
Classes are organised, free of charge, for parents and these provide an opportunity for parents to learn new skills and meet other parents.
The HSCL Co-ordinator in Castleblayney College is Ms Eilish Brennan and she is available to meet parents in school or in their homes to discuss any concerns they may have and to offer support.
