Castleblayney College is a co-educational, multidenominational school which caters for students of all abilities, preparing them for the Junior Cycle  and Leaving Certificate exams with a comprehensive curriculum reflecting the wide range of subjects available in the school.

In addition, the school also offers Junior Certificate School Programme (JCSP), Transition Year Programme (TYP) and Leaving Certificate Applied (LCA).
