Chemistry
Chemistry education reflects the growing significance of science in Ireland. It is designed to incorporate:

Chemistry is offered at Higher and Ordinary Levels and has 29 mandatory experiments to be covered. The syllabus consists of approximately 70% pure chemistry; the remaining 30% deals with the social and applied aspects of chemistry. The main topics covered are:
